INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE DESIGN INTERVENTION IN THE EXISTING HOUSE FOR SMT.U.Y SHINDE AT SATARA

Here the rigid partitions between the various rooms were got rid of by opening the walls in such a corbelled fashion to allow flow of spaces in to each other without disturbing the individuality of spaces beyond each wall. The exposed existing RCC column was clad with the residue of jaiselmer stone tiles. The flooring provides an interesting background for the typical furniture which was bought in by the client. The flooring involves four different materials which nearly fight with each other for their existence. The same floor pattern while falling out of the main door in to the landscape suddenly loses its sharpness and flows out to the open.
